What is Integrative Health Coaching?
Integrative Health Coaching is a partnership that empowers you to make lasting behavior changes that can form the foundation for a lifetime of health and well-being. Your health is impacted by multiple interconnected dimensions, including the physical, mental, spiritual and medical care approaches you use to optimize your health. As an Integrative Health Coach, I will support you in developing a vision for your healthiest self and in discovering ways to achieve that vision.
But I am not in charge! Integrative Health Coaching is about YOU taking charge and being the center of your health and wellness care. With chronic conditions on the rise, improved lifestyle choices can decrease health problems or diminish their impact on other parts of your life. But, behavior change is hard. And just thinking about adding another thing to your busy schedule makes your head spin. Career and family responsibilities often make it hard to make the choices recommended by healthcare professionals, or even to do that one thing you’ve been promising yourself to do.
I can help you decide what is really important for you to change, what you are truly ready to change (or not), and what fits best into your already full life. Integrative health coaching is a powerful strategy for engaging you in lifestyle change for better outcomes.
